In an effort to maintain safety for our students, staff, faculty, and administrators, we have updated our student drop off procedure with a new traffic pattern. We've used various methods to collect information and held several discussions with students, parents, staff and committees regarding the traffic congestion that everyone is faced with during student drop off. Although we are still in discussion trying to figure out a permanent solution to this issue, we've come up with a temporary solution to help alleviate the traffic congestion for the time being. When entering the high school campus, please follow the signs and directions from the school safety agents. They will direct you to safely enter the campus, follow the new traffic pattern, and safely drop your child off at the student drop off zone.
Once you enter the campus and drive past the guard booth, you will make the first right after entering the traffic circle. All vehicles will then make the first right to enter the parking lot, then continue down and make the first left. All vehicles will then drive down the lot and make the second left as instructed by school safety agents. All vehicles will drive up and enter the drop-off zone as soon as the vehicle reaches the sidewalks of the high school. The most important step is to make sure your child stays in the vehicle until you have reached the drop off zone.
In the event that inclement weather causes school closing, the district will notify parents through our automated messaging system.
Announcements will also be posted on the district website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the following radio and television stations

Emergency School Closings After The Start Of School
If emergency weather conditions or other emergencies develop during the school day, children will be dismissed early. Please be sure to create a plan with your child if you are not home.
Be sure to plan now, and appoint someone to meet your child at the bus stop in your absence. Make sure both your child and your designee are both familiar with your plan.
To account for all visitors to the building, you will be asked at the guard booth about the reason for your visit to the high school. If you have a business that requires access to the Visitors' Center, please pull up the curb outside the Visitors' Center entrance. Please ring the bell and wait for instructions if a staff member does not meet you. You may need to stay in your vehicle until a staff member can assist you. We thank you for your support and assistance.
No food or personal items are accepted at Visitor's Entrance. Please be aware that due to health and wellness concerns, the Visitors' Entrance staff will not be able to accept food or personal items. We thank you for your support and understanding.
